There is a Battle between couples about who should name the child after birth. Men and Women fear that their spouses might name their Kids their Ex's names.

Each of the partners should give the child one name each.The father should give the surname and the woman should suggest the christian name.

I want to be able to name my child the Christian name because the man gets the privilege of choosing the surname.

That is an agreement between man and woman but i prefer the woman to name. or one name from one side of the family and other name from the other side of the family so as to balance

I think we have all gone astray in this case because in the past it was the grands to name children and we have assumed this duty from them of recent. It is high time we went back to the old days and let the parents name our children.

Each of the partners should at least give one name to the child.If that is hard ,the grandparent on both sides should name the child.

I think both a husband and a wife have a hand in this but to some,the man is the only one who can be given chance to do so which is not well.
