How can I become an organ donor?

can I become an organ donor?

From a true story:*she* had the tragic story of being on both sides of this. First she was a mother who lost her 3-month-old child and didn't donate his organs. Then she was the mother of the baby who needed a transplant to live and couldn't get one. Losing two babies is horrendous, something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

Each of many people are in desperate need of a kidney, liver, heart, or other organ. More than 6,500 people a year about,18 a day and die before that organ ever becomes available.

To donate your organs after death, you can either register with your donor registry or fill out an organ donor card when you get or renew your driver's license.

To become a living donor, you can either work directly with your family member or friend's transplant team, or contact a transplant center in your area to find out who's in need of an organ.

I dont think there is a second death after death why not give my heart after dying? Each of many people are in desperate need of a kidney, liver, heart, or other organ.

I have heard of sisters after DNA test one donated a half kidney to her sister.

But before you donate, your organ must be of the same category with the recipient.To me, i can save some one provided that the tests confirms me to be firm after.

Contact the gynecologists probably they can be of help. However it is a good idea because many people are needy.

All organs in our bodies are useful and once one is removed you put your life at risk. Love your life and respect it before respecting other people's lives. Do not donate any.

I think this is one of the things which is so scary, donating an organ for the well being of another but if it is in death, then it is fine, i guess it is better to help others when dead if you could not when alive.
