What Causes a Back ache?

I have had a backache for over 6 years. I have tested for syphilis but the results were negative. My nature of work requires me to stand all the time. Could this be the cause of the pain? What is the treatment?

Old age  , Overstanding,   and   over bending , sometimes pregnancy  of mature stages,  and  sexual transmitted diseases ......

Over sitting without any exercise  and performing  heavy activities  like washing ,digging makes the back to ache

There can be  many causes   maybe  like   sexual  transmitted diseases   of  some kind, Malaria ,and   pregnancy  .

sometimes it can be sickness esp. syphilis causes back ache

hard to say from here, since back aches have various reasons.
Mostly it is being out of balance, the backbone is trying to compensate instabilities.
Try to do exercise everyday; lay flat, be sure that you lie straight. move your body as it should.
Try to stretch parts that are stiff bit by bit..
Eat healthy and do not get overweight.
Drink lots of clean water.
