Don't let your past rule your present

Everyone, one way or another has gone through a tough relationship and those experiences make us get overly too protective in our present relationships. But, this should not be so. The past should be the past. Try to open yourself up for a new relationship. Let your past be a lesson, not your present.

I agree with you Janet because the past is the sign of failure and it is through those failures that we get strategies to fight the current.

Open up is good but should have a limit because if anything happens people might use it to bring you down.

People who cling on what happened to them to base on what they should do for the present are unfair for themselves.
They should make the best of the present to forget the past experiences.

Very correct , because it can ruine your health  and looks if it was a very  tragedy one, so it is better to avoid thinking about it completely  unless neccesary.

They say the past is a nice place to visit, but Certainly not a good place to stay because You can learn from the past a become a better person in the future.
