Should i divorce my wife?

A friend of mine married a lady but on their first night (Honey moon), The man realised that her fiancee had a tatoo with a picture of her X-boyfriend. The lady is not willing to scrub off the tatoo because of fear of retaining a scar on her body. What advise can you give to this worried man? Should he divorce the wife?

No it was by mistake that she had that tatoo on. If the man really loves the lady he shouldnt complain.

I think that friend of yours should mind his business and love the person not the tattoo  she has and if the person is history, he must stop resurrecting that person in her minds by making her totally forget about him.

Do not let such things destroy/spoil your relationship with your wife

Good communication is important for any relationship to move on well.
I do think that it can take you a minute to think with her on how the tattoo can be removed
or else for her to explain to you how it came about.

I cant believe the advice you guys are giving to nsubugajohn. First of all, you have to realise that even though the boy friend was in the past, his tattoo is in the present. I cant love a woman when every time am in action with her, i will look at the tattoo of the the former boyfriend. That will be madness from my side. If the woman really loves me, she should be willing to put away her past by scabbing the tattoo off no matter the effects.

You have to know, that even though you love someone, you will feel bad even at the mention of their past lovers. It will get worse when a person has the tattoo.

Really the tattoo should go off because if i do something wrong she will have to bring back the memories of the x and say i am not good enough for her.

If you make it such a big deal, it will become a big deal with her so don't. Talk to her, try to find a way of harmonizing the situation because let us be honest, seeing your woman's or man's ex anywhere near your wife/husband is a big blow. tell her you are uncomfortable with it, be there if she accepts to get it off and be supportive. do not command her, talk to her like a human being.

By the time you decide to marry someone it means that you are to be with them no matter what. How can a mere tatoo be a big concern in his marriage. Let him just pretend that it is not there.

No,  marriage says  , 'till death should you part'  just look for any  possible means  for resolving  your  wrangles if any  or  complications of any  kind  and  go on the hard way .
