How long should courtship take..................

I would like to know how long someone should take in courtship before getting married. 2 years, 5 years, a week?, month?

Courtship has to time lag specified but it depends on the people involved and it is not how long you spend in courtship but whether the two love each other is the main issue. There those who spent less than a year and get married and others years. it depends on the choice of those involved.

Courtship  period  depends  on  couples  and their  future plans and what they  want  to  do and  how  they agree  upon each other  in their relationship.

It can be even a day as long as you have understood the person well and you have i identified the qualities you need from him or her. Secondly, if you are ready for marriage.

It is advisable to at least court for a year and more before getting married.

A year is enough in courtship because it is long a time to understand someone and to me it should be the minimum time.

As long as you feel you have known this person and ready to be with them. It doesnt matter if it is a week, days or years

Reginah that is not courtship and for sue let me tell you this naked truth. There is no time which is enough to learn a person you have Just met when you are adults. People can pretend for as longer as there is something they want and what is important in courtship is commitment.
