My friend just broke up with her girlfriend. He came to me crying that it was hurting so much. I at a certain point failed to get what to tell him and just tried to comfort him. How can one really handle a break up?

The Problem we have is that we don't want to accept the truth and we keep clinging to history. Just accept and convince yourself that she went and start a new life.

A break up ,just tell him to allow himself to cry ,even if it is for a whole week or month.Tell him not pretend by holding tears. After sobbing ,he will be fine and think of another strategy.

Some one should just assume that his or her partner no longer exists on earth and he or she should stop thinking about that person. Assume that that person is dead.

it is hard i know, but let him cry it out, accept it and move on, that is what he needs to do. let him feel hurt and then forget it. let him know that something better probably lies ahead and he does not know it.

A break up hurts and in most cases both parties get hurt. You just have to understand that it happened for a reason and that good things and opportunities are coming your way.

To get over the break up, you just remember the bad things you knew about this person.And if you want to love this person again ,you remember only the good things

Its very hard to handle a break up but as times goes on , you get over it...

Your friend should give it time. breakups hurt but with time everything will be ok.
