there is also the matter of degree of the kiss. "Making out" in public is certainly is very bad taste, but what's wrong with holding hands either? how ever this is a different society with cultural norms

As Jones has said it kissing varies and interpreted differently depending on were one comes from. But, for me there is no problem with it.

I do not mind kissing in public, as long as it is with a person who is really committed to me and i to him. But you have to find out if your partner is comfortable with it.

As long as you are married, there is no problem with it. But for purposes of public respect and our cultural conservation, i may not do it.

That is Public Display of Affection and it is not allowed in African culture. we should keep our African values

The fact is that kissing should be in a private place if your considering the African culture but if your considering Western culture then its okay to kiss in public
