What is the role of religious leaders in politics?

Religious leaders have been involved in politics from as far back as history states but it has been argued that they should stay away from politics. However, I think it is good to have a touch of God in politics, its dirt can seep through and the nation will suffer the consequences.

There role is to guide leaders in the right direction and besides they have also to participate in politics because their citizens with a say in their country.

Religious leaders' role is to advise and guide political leaders on matters concerning citizens and their communities.

Religious leaders being engaged in politics is not a problem because politicians need to be informed about God in activities they are engaged in which are against the Bible. But as log as the religious leaders are not taken up by politics

I think it's not a big deal to have religious leaders into politics because that is the way politics will turn from a dirty game to a clean game.

True leaders  are not supposed to combine the two because   darkness can never   combine with Light  which is marvelous.

The topic is nice and i think its better having the leaders in politics so that GOD can be even exalted the more almost in every state matter and this can lead to a decrease to corruption
